Counselling in Kent - Clients
Adults
I have been working with adults since 2002. Currently some of my adult clients come through my work at South Kent College but I also see adult clients privately. In the past I have also worked with adults through the NHS at GP surgeries in the Primary Care Sector.
Students
I do sometimes work with staff at South Kent College but most of the clients are students and they currently range from 16 to 60. The largest group is under 25. Problems range right across the board but the most frequent ones are those associated with relationships.
Young People
Again, at South Kent College, most of the students are Young People but in addition, a large percentage of my private clients are young.

Children
I see children, in my own therapy room, in private houses and in therapy rooms attached to fostering agencies.
Sometimes the challenge is improving relationships with other members of the family but it can also be to do with anger, self abuse, depression and loss.
Couples
It is possible to see couples in their own home but it is much preferable to see them in my own therapy room.
Couples seen can be heterosexual, gay, lesbian or bisexual. The key is the relationship. I am not a 'sex therapist' but it is rare that couple therapy does not impinge upon sexual practices.
