I am the college counsellor at Folkestone and Dover campuses of the Further Education establishment, South Kent College.

For social service departments in several areas, I work 1:1 with children who are being fostered.

At Inter-Psyche I am a tutor for the Diploma in Counselling students lecturing, supporting, facilitating a Process Group and liaising with supervisors.

I have a private practice with adults, couples, adolescents and children.

As a supervisor, currently I am running three groups of counsellors, two groups of support workers and two individual counsellors.

In 2002 - 2003 I worked two mornings a week counselling in Primary Care at two medical centres.

Home Tuition was working 1:1 with adolescents who do not go to school because of physical, social and psychological reasons or because they have not found an establishment that will handle their behaviour.

Between 1991 and 1996, part time work for KCC Social Services included counselling individuals and groups for young people aged 11 to 18. The groups ran from one-off day sessions to 10-week regular meetings on such subjects as "Boys to Men" and "Relationship Forming."

For more than 30 years I have worked with and trained Samaritans and have run courses for other organisations such as Victim Support.

I have also worked in prisons both as a Samaritan counsellor and in training and supervising inmates to be "Listeners".

I have travelled extensively around the world and have had regular work in education, journalism and film production.

For Magpie Productions I make videos that tend to be for Health Authorities or Social Services. Productions include four on Counselling on Sexuality, Two on Pre and Post Aids Test Counselling and two for teenagers on sexual health.
